John Dotegowski is an artist/illustrator who has
lived in the western New York area most of his life. Like most of
his kind he has been drawing and painting since he was a wee child.
He started out normal enough but at some point became fascinated
with the fantasy, science fiction and horror genres. This would
prompt helpful critiques from his mother when he would show her his
paintings like " It's nice...for what it is. But, couldn't you maybe
paint something like flowers."
He's a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh
and works mostly in both digital and traditional media. He's done
mostly game related art for companies ranging from trading card
games to rule book covers as well as novel covers and illustrations
plus numerous private commissions.
